I was having lots of pain in my neck with lots of headaches. I also had a lot of trouble concentrating in school. After treatment I noticed a big difference in my pain as well as my headaches decreased. After continued treatments my headaches stayed gone longer, and longer. I also noticed that my neck didn’t bother me much when I was doing things.
The only setbacks I had was just my neck going out from activities. But the longer I went for treatments the more my neck stayed in place longer. My benefits that were unexpected was how much my concentration improved and how my school work improved. I think that Dr. Throness is awesome.!!

My name is Darla Wasmuth and I started going to see Dr. Throness in July 2006. I hurt my back in March 2006 and went to a town close by for chiropractic care. The doctor adjusted me a few times and my back seemed a bit better. In July 2006 I once again hurt my back in the same area and returned for chiropractic care for more treatments. At this time the doctor told me he could continue to see me, but he could not help me permanently and could not fix my problem.
I was told of Dr. Throness and thought I would try him. Dr. Throness on my first visit told me what my problem was and said he could help me. I noticed a huge improvement after seeing him once. In October 2006 I had a set back and ended up in the hospital in North Battleford unable to walk at all or sit or turn. I spent about 5 days in the hospital where I didn’t improve at all. I insisted to my family doctor that he release me so that I could go to St. Albert and see Dr. Throness. By the time I got to St. Albert I was in extreme pain even though I was on Morphine to ease the pain. I could not walk into the office on my own I basically needed to be carried in. Dr. Throness saw me right away and I walked out of the office by myself.
Before I visited Dr. Throness I thought I would be living the rest of my life in constant pain. After the progress I have had, I know that one day I will be feeling 100% better. I have since found out so many benefits that I had no idea about – if my ankle is out a bit it will affect my entire body. If I have a headache it is because my neck is out. If I have heart burn a certain part of my back is out and so many more things.
Dr. Throness has helped me and my family so much and his care is far beyond what I would expect from a doctor as well he is more interested in you living a better fulfilled life with no pain – that he really does go the “extra mile” to help you.
I live 4 hours from Dr. Throness and I started out going 1 – 3 times a week to now I am up to once every 4 – 5 weeks which makes for a lot of long trips usually there and back in one day but when I can be affected in such a positive way after a treatment and with how much Dr. Throness has helped me I have no choice but to choose a doctor who I can rely on to give me the treatments I need in order to live my life to the fullest without pain.

I had been to many chiropractors in search of help for a hip injury I sustained as a teenager. I have had a variety of treatments with little to no success and had almost given up hope. Jeremy was recommended to me by someone who was aware of my struggle and frustration. I am so thankful I went! He was able to find the cause of my hip pain which turned out( in part at least) to be a femur bone issue (something that went unnoticed by others for years). I am getting stronger and am virtually pain free. My quality of life has definitely improved already as I was able to go skiing this winter for the first time in years and felt no pain during or after!
The other thing that he has had huge success with me about is my neck stiffness, pain and range of motion. I had been unable to shoulder check properly in a vehicle for years due to these problems. Again Jeremy was able to properly assess and treat this. I was apprehensive about having my neck adjusted but it soon became apparent that he has a lot of knowledge in this area which he shared with me making me more comfortable. I love the fact that he waits for you to be completely relaxed before he will make the adjustment so nothing is “forced” into place.
I have also purchased a water pillow from Jeremy that I HIGHLY recommend to anyone who suffers from neck pain. I used to wake up several times a night feeling like my neck was about to “go out”. I would wake up felling tired and not rested. Since I’ve had the water pillow I sleep through the whole night and my neck has never felt better. (If I can help with a problem, that's great, but if I can help prevent a problem, that's even better!) It has been the best investment I’ve made in quite awhile!

Through a good portion of my adult life, I have suffered from varied degrees of headaches. I would attribute them to things like work related eye strain, poor diet, or lack of sleep. I didn’t experience any prolonged relief from this until I went to Dr. Throness. He showed me that although poor lifestyle can trigger headaches, the cause can go back to your spine being out of alignment. Where I used to go days without headaches, I now count weeks between them thanks to Dr. Throness.
Dr. Throness also treats my son. When he was a toddler, he suffered from constipation. We went to a few different doctors who all prescribed different forms of medication….expensive and hard for a toddler to ingest. For 8 years I had severe back pain with pain down both my legs. The bottoms of both feet and the outside of my left leg were constantly numb and tingly. I had been told by a doctor that I had a herniated disc and that there was nothing that they could do but wait until I eventually lost control of my bowels and bladder and then they would do surgery.

When I had discovered Throness Chiropractic, I had been having hip discomfort for years, it stated after the birth of my second child. Difficult to describe it was a combination of pins and needles, a dull ache/pain and sometimes numbness. It affected me day and night. I am very glad that I am receiving treatment from Dr. Throness. Seven months ago I thought that I had just strained a muscle at the gym and that it would heal in time. I have always in my adult life seen a chiropractor so when my hand started falling asleep all the time and my family told me to get it operated on (I just had several of them done) I came to Jeremy. I met Dr. Throness when he was first opening his clinic. He needed a mural on his wall and I was a painter/artist. Hence the spine on his wall in the waiting room. As for chiropractic procedures, I had never been to a chiropractor nor had I needed to – or so I thought. After getting to know Dr. Throness while I was painting the mural and he was doing renos around the office, I became very comfortable in asking him exactly how treatments were done.
I drilled him on why some people are worse after being adjusted by a “bone cruncher “. I was starting to feel sore in the lower back and told him to be gentle. I questioned everything he did and I was very skeptical. Well that was 7 yrs ago and I keep coming back and he keeps helping me. When I first came to see Dr. Throness nearly 6 yrs ago, I suffered from chronic low back pain. For the first few months my visits were 2 – 3 times per week. Through progressive treatment adjustments the length of time between appointments lengthened to once every 2 – 3 weeks.
I noticed an increase in mobility and far less pain and discomfort. Through regular exercise, which I am able to do without pain, and the occasional adjustment I am able to enjoy many of the activities that I was unable to participate in for over 10 years.
